This was another school project, from an earlier year. We had to pick a classic novel and do the cover for it. I decided to take a stab at Frank Herbert's Dune.
There's a moment fairly on in Dune that communicates how small and helpless Jessica & her son Paul are on this planet that I decided to focus on, when a worm the size of a whale breaches the sands in front of them as they're escaping. I decided that would be a good focus for the cover.
