Hello, I'm Lily Akins! I'm a freelance illustrator currently based in Missouri, although I have moved several times in the past few years. I work primarily in a graphic style, taking advantage of the tools in Illustrator, although I do sketches traditionally and can work in other media.

I have a love for stories that I feel reflects in my work - I strongly prefer to create a sense of character and imply that a story exists behind even my simplest drawings. I'm a dreamer and creative, constantly coming up with new ideas and dedicating time to help make them a reality.

I'm Lily Akins, a freelance illustrator based in the United States. I graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 2013 and have been working on art ever since. I primarily work in Adobe Illustrator, which works best using flat shapes and simple colors, but can do more representational work.

I try to emphasize story in my personal work; even in more abstract and graphic pieces, I strive to create a sense of character and setting within my work, using the implied story to draw the viewer in.
